FULL TITLE: 'Make this go viral': Mother posts graphic images of her disabled son covered in his own blood after he was beaten up by bullies to shame school teacher 'who failed to stop the attack'
A distraught mother claims her disabled son was beaten up at school after a teacher failed to stop him being bullied.
Valerie Ann Lozano, from San Antonio, said her son was in PE class at Resnik Middle School on Thursday when another student told the boy he was going to fight him after school.
She claims her son told his PE teacher about the threat, and the instructor told the boy 'Dont worry, I got you'.
But, she wrote on Facebook, the offer of help never materialized and her son was beaten bloody later the same day.

There was a fight between two middle-school boys. This is not a new thing. I think it’s unfortunate, but many men would disagree, believing that fights between boys are a natural part of growth, and that preventing them results in the feminization of all sorts of things. (Fistfights between boys happen even in homeschools.)
What is new, however, is the quick recourse to social media by the mother. I can imagine a situation in which institutional schooling suffers considerable losses of personnel because every academic or discipline situation ends up as a public madhouse.
The school said it was an “altercation” and was “immediately” stopped by a police officer....
With as much blood as in the pictures, I’d have to seriously question the word “immediately”...
Usually disabled kids don’t get into fistfights...
They are just beaten...
Problem is these days in schools both kids would be suspended. Had this boy defended himself he too would be suspended from school. Please don’t ask me why I think its retarded. Something about “zero tolerance”. So the bullies run wild, they know they can get away with it and they don’t care if they are suspended.
PLus what JBW1949 said!
Most time the school suspends the victim of a bullying attack because fighting or some other inane excuse.
Ditto.
I looked in the article to see what the disability was. “Anxiety” was mentioned. I don’t think the boy was in a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy or anything like that.
The blood looks like a hit to the nose. Only a few weeks ago, my 8-year-old cut his finger while trying to cut up an apple. The kitchen looked like we’d butchered a chicken: blood *everywhere*. However, the wound didn’t even require a bandage: just a couple of minutes of direct pressure.
As I said, I’m not fond of fighting - damages the furniture, for one thing - but it is not anything new.
So, in your opinion, only being in a wheelchair qualifies a kid as being disabled...
I was in a few fistfights in school, but never THAT much blood...
They are indeed.
Because the schools of today are like still like the schools of the sixties and seventies. If you didn’t have a fortunate upbringing then all of this sounds familiar.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
TC I saw boys fight when I was in high school and I NEVER saw blood like that on the ground! Most of the time it was just “macho crap” and them raising their “Dukes” at each other in a stand off that ended up in a wrestling match on the ground until a male teacher pulled them up by the shirt collar and drug them to the principal’s office.
Really the worst fights were by the girls and that results in hair pulling and hair being every wear and maybe torn clothing but no blood.
The blood I saw here? NO I’ve NEVER SEEN THIS!! Not in my day anyway.
As for this boy having anxiety? Maybe he did? Had panic attacks? Felt like his heart was racing? That can feel like a real heart attack and it’s not fun. Probably had to leave class and to “calm down” Stress/lots of things can bring it on.
My kid had a craft knife pulled to his throat that was grabbed off of the teacher’s desk. Teacher turned a blind eye. It was my son telling the coach what happened. SRO got involved and the kid was sent to detention. Kid used to bring porn into school as well.
Probably a scalp wound. Bleed like stink. One good lick and blood everywhere. Pretty easy to fix but looks like hell.
I don’t know any details, but a friend of mine posted that his son was almost killed by a bully at school. Young scumball put drugs in his food. Several days in the hospital followed.
teachers are well aware of bullying, they aren’t blind. they know, and yet they not only ignore bullying, they actively side with the bullies. been going on for decades
perhaps his anxiety is the result of being bullied?
Nice to see the future Democrats in action.
