Anyone wanted to harm the people on that train could have done it a million different ways that would have been more effective and not wound up with anyone being killed...
Hell, all you need to so is put a nice wedge on the tracks and the train derails causing all sorts of harm to those aboard with no risk to the people who want it to happen...

I find it hard to believe that the Amtrak Nisqually train crash is anything but an example of bad employees not paying sufficient attention to what they were doing and a track owner (Sound Transit, along with WSDOT) that are incompetent.
The timing is very suspicious!

The train pic showing the damage to the train says train number "145" and damage on the engine is on the right side. The picture of the truck with the train in the background the train number is "4" The damage should be on the right side not the left side of the train. The two train engines are also painted differently
Also important the train engineer was seriously hurt. Which means he would be replaced. The train left before the investigation could've been done which is highly unusual. Maybe not for these passengers though
