Hillary Clinton, 2019 Grammy winner?
Thats what host James Corden was hoping for, after a pre-taped segment during Sunday nights award show where he had the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate read excerpts from Michael Wolffs book, Fire and Fury, as part of a spoken word audition spoof. Clinton was shown reading from of the bombshell Donald Trump book, first with her face hidden and then revealing who she is.
He had a longtime fear of being poisoned, one reason why he liked to eat at McDonalds. No one knew he was coming, and the food was safely pre-made, she reads.
Corden assures her she nailed the audition and a spoken word Grammy is in the bag.

With her scratchy, irritating voice - full of unneeded pauses and breathe-taking “stops” betwen each clause???
Teehee, i’ll bet their ratings sucked.
[Written leaning over backwards to try to avoid being prejudiced against the current generation]
Just listened to five or six Bruno Mars songs. Hated them all except for “When I Was Your Man” — a song more or less in a traditional style. Even with that one, though, I didn’t like his voice.
(Not that you have to have a beautiful or technically accomplished voice to produce good songs. Dylan’s voice, for instance, is limited in some respects, but I rank his modern folk and rock ‘n’ roll songs among the best ever. Mars, though, sings in a voice that seems excessively high — again, not that high or low is necessarily bad — and annoying.)
The lyrics of the song are pretty good, though. (I’d like to hear someone else sing it.)
When I Was Your Man
Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now [good line]
Our song on the radio but it don’t sound the same...
...too young, too dumb to realize
That I should have bought you flowers
And held your hand
Should have gave you all my hours
[Pop songs don’t have to be grammatical, but even to make the meter fit, “gave” there is hard to take :-)]
When I had the chance
Take you to every party ‘cause all you wanted to do was dance.
Now my baby’s dancing
But she’s dancing with another man...
Gawd she sounded awful...
Of all the things she could do or say, and all of the books she could read including her own, she chooses Trump!
I've found a musical version that I prefer to that of Mars, one by Thomas Rhett. I speak favorably of it even though Rhett wears his cap backwards -- who says I can't overcome prejudice? :-) First time I saw that cap style was decades ago playing in outdoor volleyball tournaments. When a friend of mine got really serious about competing, and wanted to crank things up a notch, he'd turn his cap around and pound on the ground -- not that I minded that on those special occasions, but as a style it seems silly. I don't know who Rhett is, but here's a link to the song, which I like -- YouTube.
And this is what passes as entertainment and art today? Keep it up. All the endorsements from last election ended up driving more voters to Trump.
slut
I would not watch one second of the grammy bullsh*t!
Their whole life is political.
These people and their ilk are the same kind that hijacked Paul Wellstone's funeral memorial service to use for political purposes against Bush.
They were whooping and cheering derogatory things that speakers said about Bush, at a man's memorial service.
Oh FFS! Go away Hillary! You’re an old hag who needs a new bag!
Hillary Clinton Reads Fire and Fury at the Grammys
Well, she has the free time
No matter how clever she thinks she is, she is living in two time loser hell.
Every day she wakes up, she realizes she isn’t president and will NEVER be president. The man she thought was too stupid/incompetent/foolish to beat annihilated her in an electoral landslide.
Her humiliation and bitterness will never go away. Her double defeats are eating her alive and I’m enjoying her suffering.
Next year, I’ll volunteer to read from Clinton Cash...
Hillary's descent into dark comedy might be sad to someone who is not able to see past her posturing.
For those of us who know the woman is simply evil, it is a delightful bit of schadenfreude.
Trying to fill the Michael Jackson void as is the Weeknd dude
Arkansas grifter, trailer trash and carpetbagger......
From what i heard, not much of that political rally had anything to do with music....
thanx
