At this moment, CNN is orgasmic over the New York Times’s claim that President Trump “tried to fire Robert Mueller.” This is the headline in the online edition of the Times:
That headline is simply false. Trump didn’t order Mueller’s firing; if he had, Mueller would be fired. A truthful headline would say that Trump considered firing Mueller; or wanted to fire Mueller; or wished he could fire Mueller. All of which, in my opinion, would do credit to Trump, since Mueller deserves to be fired for exceeding his mandate by pursuing criminal charges against people loosely associated with Trump that have absolutely nothing to do with alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

exactly. If none of the deep state FBI/DOJ are arrested in the next few months, then IMHO we are toast. How and why the 2 FBI lovers still have a job, and why haven’t they been charged with anything, is beyond reason. There ARE 2 justice systems and 2 sets of rules...all for us and none for them. Is Sessions waiting to drop the bombshell on everyone at one time, as others here have posted? Or is he a part of the big cover up as his actions against exposure have suggested?

I’ve never seen the importance of this story. Trump could have fired him. He chose not to. He did consider firing Mueller. He didn’t “wish he could” fire him.
So there they go with another bogus accusation against Trump. When will those idiots figure it out, they are wasting their time and peeing into the wind. What will they think of next as their weapon of choice trying to stick something/anything to Trump? Dumb asses!!!
He may of thought to do it. When one grasp at straws, preconceived thought is rationalized to the status of concern. After it is run around the table a few times, it becomes fact. He committed fact without the act!

so essentially one person without evidence planted the story.
