Mother was an angel of tolerance, intellect, empathy and humor. Her loss is still a painful ache, and my gratitude to her unending. Thank you for your most kind thoughts. A hug to you and yours, and a thousand laughs of joy.

Thanks big. My dad was emotionally and verbally abusive and mother passive in the face of it. I was singled out for particular abuse because my personality was too much like his.

Qx--both dads were harsh and one sometimes physically abusive at the demand of Qx's mother. She was also quite harsh. And no one knew what to do with him. The latter hasn't changed much. LOL.

It has greatly plagued Qx's relationship with Father God because he never had any sufficiently connected emotional bonding with either father (or his mother, for that matter). He still doesn't know experientially what it's like to truly please a loving father figure. That's very sad to both of us.
