Absolutely correct. They should have had it cued up and launched before the opposition could mobilize. With each passing day it’s credibility gets trashed and the likelihood of its release gets smaller.
It's being held over the head of the IG Horrowitz, reminding him his overdue report better not be a coverup job. The memo was announced basically the same day Horrowitz failed to deliver the 1.2 million pages of info to Congress, which was supposed to have included those missing texts, but he only coughed up ~1,000 pages instead. But Nunes has already admitted he has a whistleblower providing him info, which is one of the ways how they were able to build the memo even though the DOJ formally won't cooperate.
