The Sessions Justice Department is calling on House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) to allow the FBI to review the “shocking,” FISA abuse memo to ensure its release will not harm national security.
ABC News reports:
The Justice Department is urging the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, whose staff has compiled a secret memorandum purporting to show “shocking” political bias within the FBI, to give the department a chance to see the memo and warning that first sharing information from the memo with reporters would be “unprecedented” and dangerous.
Furthermore, the department said certain allegations of impropriety are completely unfounded.
“We believe it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the [committee] of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from the public release,” a top Justice Department official wrote in a letter today to Rep. Devin Nunes, R-California.

Beats me. I have to say I’m glad I no longer live in AL. I would have been hard pressed to vote for Moore.

Sessions needs to be investgated...this is over the top.
As has been explained to you countless times by myself, and others, it's because Trump is under investigation by special prosecutor Mueller for possible obstruction of justice. A central part of that supposed case is Trump's firing of Comey. Firing Sessions right now would be viewed by Mueller and those wanting to impeach Trump as further possible obstruction.
I know you simply can't accept this obvious fact, because in your mind Mueller isn't even after Trump. You think Mueller is after Hillary, for some bizarre, unsupportable or understandable reason. Until you come to grips with reality and forget that nonsense, none of this is going to make any sense to you.
I hesitate to suggest a “hate” crime may have just occurred.
That's why they want to be at the table; at this point that's wishful thinking.

At this point in time the DOJ requires an active, clear headed, ruthless head...a wartime Consigliere, if you will.
If anyone here believes that describes Sessions, please speak up. Prepare to be the butt of ridicule, however.
Sessions has always been an enigma.
