CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) Firearms manufacturer Weatherby Inc. is relocating its manufacturing operations and corporate headquarters from California to Wyoming, marking another catch by Wyoming of a company abandoning a state that isnt as gun friendly.
Weatherbys move to Sheridan is expected to create 70 to 90 jobs and more than $5 million in annual payroll over the next five years.

$55k would go a long ways I’m guessing in Wyoming. California not so much. I wonder what their payroll was in California? I’m guessing the wages are inflated along with everything else in California?
Also, NO STATE INCOME TAX in Wyoming will make that payroll buy a whole lot more...
OMG there was a firearms manufacturer in CA. what the HELL have they been doing here this long???? Did their CEO finally come out of a coma and realize where the HELL they were trying to run a firearms business!!!!
You are right, of course. I missed that part that it was five million per year - read it as five million over five years. Whoops!
