I hate to tell you, but most of those “reality” Judge shows are nothing more than theater masquerading as justice.

I know personally of someone who went on one of those shows, where the other party was 100% guilty, but the guilty party “couldn’t afford” to pay what was owed. So, they went to L.A. on their own dime, went on the show and the judge split the verdict 50/50. At least the plaintiff received some money, from the show, which was better than nothing, I guess.
