Sharing her own #MeToo experience, 84-year-old U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg told a crowd at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday that "it's about time" women speak up about sexual harassment.(snip)
She surprised the audience by speaking of her own experience with sexual harassment back when she was a student at Cornell University in the 1950s. She said her chemistry professor tried to make an inappropriate pass at her.
"Every woman of my vintage knows what sexual harassment is, although we didn't have a name for it," she said. "I'm taking a chemistry course at Cornell and my instructor said, because I was uncertain about my ability in that field, 'I'll give you a practice exam.' So he gave me a practice exam. The next day on the test, the test is the practice exam and I knew exactly what he wanted in return. And that's just one of many examples."

This movement smacks of people wanting to feel part of a group and they’ll say anything to do it.
Can this be linked to the camel pageant thread?
he ‘tried to make an inappropriate pass...’ wtf? he tried to? he didn’t even make a pass, whether she saw it as inappropriate or not, but he TRIED?
I call BS.
The only "dickie" she got is the one around her neck.
Chem Professors use “Chem Goggles,” FAR FAR more powerful than Beer Goggles. Avogadro’s Number times more powerful.
In the 1950s, Cornell was the only co-ed Ivy League school. The others ‘integrated’ in the early 70s.
I was a Cornellian in the 1050’s. Great teachers and great school! Loved every minute of it.A Crying shame such a super school has gone to hell in a handbag thanks to its left wing idiocy.
“Oh come on! A blind man wouldnt make a pass at RBG with his cane.”
I wouldn’t put it past this commie hag to sue the descendants of the blind professor.
BS, liar
“#MeToo”
Or, as WMAL’s Chris Plante translates it, “pound me, too!”
Somehow, I doubt it!!
Wow, that was waaay back in the day.
“I was a Cornellian in the 1050s.” Wow, are you old !!!!
My son-in-law and 3 of his sibs went to Cornell, graduating between 2006 and 2010. Daughter’s wedding was at Sage Chapel. So Cornell, despite its current lefty leanings, holds a special place in my heart.
It’s listed as one of her fondlest moments....
