Sounds like the Apple is rotten and the aura is collapsing.

No doubt about that! However, if anyone can point to me a better phone, I’ll buy it today! I loathe Apple Inc., but I know of no better product.

Certainly Samsung and all other Android devices are superior in some key areas. One that strikes my fancy is the ability to instantly upgrade such phones’ memory instead of having to buy a new phone. And the FaceId isn’t a big sell for me for the iPhone (which is why I haven’t rushed out to get one)

But if you or anyone can assuage my fear regarding Android devices I will drop my iPhone quicker than you can say “defective battery”: is it, or is it NOT true that all Android devices, including even Google’s Pixel, do not update their software regularly to the next OS when it becomes available? For example, “Nougat” is still the OS on some cheaper phones available. However that’s an OS from years ago now as far as I’m aware.

What’s up with that? Are these older OSes still secure? I don’t see how they could be if no patches are released for them anymore and/or there’s no way to upgrade to the latest Android OS on such phones!

Someone please explain to me if I’m wrong how I’m wrong. I’m begging anyone. Because I hate Apple with a passion. I just don’t know of any other phone that comes close to the level of security they provide.
