The icon, who will be presented with a lifetime achievement at the Grammys on Sunday, has cancelled the third leg of his world tour on the advice of his doctor. Neil Diamond has officially announced his retirement from touring due to his recent Parkinsons diagnosis.
The third leg of his 50th Anniversary tour, which was set to launch in March across Australia and New Zealand, has been cancelled as was medically recommended by his doctor. Fans who already purchased tickets will be refunded in full.
I plan to remain active in writing, recording and other projects for a long time to come, the singer wrote in a statement Monday on his website. My thanks goes out to my loyal and devoted audiences around the world. You will always have my appreciation for your support and encouragement. This ride has been so good, so good, so good thanks to you.
Diamond will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Recording Academy at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Yeah, McCartney does not really sound so good. But he is still Paul McCartney.
Wow, that is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Your comment about Frank is ABSURD.
Synonyms for obtuseness ---- boneheadedness, brainlessness, denseness, density, dim-wittedness, doltishness, dopiness, dorkiness, dullness.
Learn the language before you use a word about Sinatra in that context, genius.
Yep. I play senior softball with a guy in his late 60's who has Parkinsons. He can still play great ball but when he's standing in the outfield you can see his glove hand noticeably shaking as well as when he's just standing around.
At one time I thought I might be coming down with it (which I wasn't) and mentioned it to my doctor. He responded by saying why spend your time worrying about it since there is no cure. Just keep doing what you enjoy doing.........That made sense to me.

LOVE ON THE ROCKS -- INTRODUCED BY DAVID CROSBY
MAGIC
Boneheadedness as in stubbornly continuing to sell a product long past its ‘sell-by’ date.

[snip] In Brooklyn he attended Erasmus Hall High School and was a member of the Freshman Chorus and Choral Club along with classmate Barbra Streisand. They were not close friends at the time, Diamond recalls: “We were two poor kids in Brooklyn. We hung out in the front of Erasmus High and smoked cigarettes.” [/snip]
I like Deep Purple’s cover of “Kentucky Woman”.
All in the eye of the “boneheaded” observer.
