PARKER COUNTY AND FLOWER MOUND, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) Crews are fighting a string of grass fires in North Texas thats now led to evacuations in some areas. As of 2:50 p.m. a third grass fire is burning south of Highway 199 and west of Ross Lane in extreme north central Parker Co, between Poolville and Springtown, according to the National Weather Service. Evacuations are being ordered. The second grass fire, is a big one just east of Willow Park in Parker County has burned at least 1,000 acres according to the Texas A&M Forest Service. The agency said there has been little to no containment.

We got a lot of rain yesterday, and temps have cooled off, so that should help.
If the “slandered” person name involves a state and a certain reptile with an affinity for swamps I believe the evidence speaks for itself.
Cigs being tossed out in high winds more than likely.
It stormed last night, but the dormant grasses have already dried out.
We’re 2 counties northeast of Parker County - no rain in forever, and today 25 mph winds from the WNW. Bone dry.
