Televangelist Kenneth Copeland announced on his website this week that his duplicitous fleecing operation Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) has taken possession of a Gulfstream V airplane. (HT: Christian Daily Reporter)
"What a wonderful gift!" Elite CX Team Leader Charlie Bollinger wrote about the purchase on his KCM blog. "We knew the Gulfstream V would come quickly, and now we have it. And its all because of you, the faithful KCM Elite CX Team memberscombined with the blessings of a FAITHFUL GOD!" Copeland didn't disclose how much the "ministry" paid for the GV.
KCM explained that the Holy Spirit had confirmed that the Gulfstream V was "the plane the Lord had set aside" for the organization. (Because, you know, God has a giant hangar in the sky from which he sends extravagant gifts to good little televangelists or something!)

I like the idea of three engines, and being able to sustain flight with any one of them.
I love the Babylon Bee.
I have found that not everyone on FR does.
A billionaire. Noe trying to merge with the Pope. (No, really.)
Three engines. Undoubtedly Brother Copeland would justify it in a blog post as the Trinitarian choice. If the Father and the Son blow out, well there’s always #3: the Holy Spirit.
That, is true humor.
Now,now. Let’s not burn our (Barbie) Bridges.
Passed away in 2005.
I have never had the Holy Spirit advise me on financial issues,

Well, that is a problem you are having by not walking closely enough with Jesus. That thing He said about not worrying about what you would wear and what you will eat is really true. Read 1 & 2 Samuel again. Note that whenever anyone asked Elohim for guidance, and did what they were told, things went OK. Note that whenever they thought they could figure out what to do on their own things went south, big time.
Once you start walking more closely with Jesus and talking to Him every day, you will find that amazing things will happen. Not everything is guaranteed to be peachy keen. Your job may require being treated like Jeremiah, Job, or Paul, but it will always work out in the end.
On a personal note, while not in the Gulfstream class, Elohim did provide us with a Winnebago Brave 34D, and the money to pay cash for it, just when we needed it. At the same time, he answered one of my High School classmate’s prayer to have an Escape 17 trailer.
You should try it! His Yoke is Easy!
Copeland is listed as the 7th Richest Pastor in the world. Net Worth around 27 Million, but millions more hidden in shell accounts. He was investigated by Sen Grassley’s committee for tax evasion, but Copeland was never charged.
Jesus didn’t need a plane;
Jhn 6:21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
Faster than any jet and not even a sonic boom!
It would seem the ‘lesson’ of Jim and Tammy Fay was lost on the faithful.
People have the free will to do as they wish. I guess that includes getting shown like so many sheep by the hucksters.
Jesus would have laced up His sandals and walked to wherever He was going.
So there's a list? I'd like to see that! Link?
K-TNX :)
From God’s point of view dying is no big problem. For anyone on this mortal plain it’s a blessing, as He’d see it, at any rate.
Whats got you in a dither?
You mean like the pope?
Jesus doesn’t need one.
