VANITY: Veiled Threat, Hoax or Phishing Scam? (Twitter Letter)
Twitter?

Just received an email from Twitter (see below) about "banning Russian propaganda" accounts. Not sure if this is legit, a hoax or phishing scam. Has anyone else received this email?
I have not clicked on any links about a "blog".
If this is legit, I sense a veiled threat when they mention that I've either visited, liked or retweeted these supposed "Russian tweets". It's as though they've "put me on notice" and they're documenting people.

Without seeing it, I’d say it is legit.

Look at the Received headers. The first header, the one at the bottom, is written by the sending server and cannot be faked. The sending IP in this one is 75.103.66.10, a rented server on the cloud that anyone with a credit card can buy.

It was from Twitter. The link took me to a sample of what they claim were Tweets by Russian bots. I have no idea what I’m suppose to do with their info, nor do I care. I’ll continue to ‘like’ and ‘retweet’ anything that I agree with, @Jack be damned.

I got that email but I deleted it without reading it. I suspected that it was twitter propaganda and reading the content you posted I think my suspicions have been confirmed.

"Not Twitter. Definitely someone trying to scare you."
Who and why? Even if it isn't Twitter, it sounds organized, i.e., not just some lone weirdo messing with people.
To: ak267
Did you post #ReleaseTheMemo? They’re saying it is Russian bots. Everything is Russian bots to them, they regularly ban conservatives and call them Russian bots.

> I had to verify my account before twitter would let me back in.
That is happening on a mass scale, which is why even your little-used account was affected.
Twitter is harvesting phone numbers of conservatives.
Consider that carefully.

It’s regarding the army of Q autists as they call themselves. They have been flooding twitter and facebook with #releasethememo and with memes about info about to be released to public. Don’t believe the MSM nor twitter. The vast majority of the autists are not Russian by a long shot...they are patriots on a mission from Q and presumably President Trump. Q told them they were chosen to get this word out for a specific reason...yet to be revealed, but I believe it is because they are amazing researchers!

Also, they are being banned by twitter to the max degree, but they are savvy millennialists who were raised on computers. They know ways to get around the twitter bans. MAGA!

Ordinary Twitter users brought #ReleaseTheMemo to #1 trending so THIS is what Twitter did back to them:

Can you freaking beat that...?!?!?!?!

Dear FreeRepublic,
I haven’t been completely honest with you.
I was sent from the future to find out WHY YOU PEOPLE KEEP GOING TO TWITTER
We in the future can’t seem to figure out why you past people don’t know what sex you are, eat laundry detergent and are completely addicted to websites that have declared you an enemy, and treat you with disdain and hatred.
