“Sometimes I feel like the only woman in the world who thinks breastfeeding should be done behind closed doors.”
I have lots of very devout Catholic friends. Numerous times the moms among them (who have 7, 8, and 9 kids) have breastfed their children right in front of me and I didn’t even initially realize it was happening because they used a small blanket to cover up. There’s no reason why a mom cannot cover up. It’s not hard.
I personally don’t have any problem with women breastfeeding in public. Kid’s gotta eat, right?
But clearly this woman is an activist who has a bee in her bonnet over Chick Fil-A being run by Christians, and she is trying to provoke a controversy.
I don’t know why a woman would want to breastfeed in public uncovered though. It is sure to draw unwelcome attention from some hormone-charged thirteen year old boy.
