(Meredith) The owner of a Chick-Fil-A in North Dakota has apologized after a mother claims the restaurant kicked her out for breastfeeding without a cover.
Macy Hornung said she was nursing her child at a Fargo Chick-Fil-A when the franchise owner approached her Saturday evening. She said the owner asked her to cover up or leave the restaurant.
I was showing no more than the upper portion of my breast, barely more than what was visible in my shirt, and (she) asked me to cover, Hornung wrote on Facebook. I tried to explain that I couldnt because my baby refuses to be covered.
The mom said the owner also reminded her that men and children were dining at the restaurant.
I said they could practice the simple art of looking away She told me if I chose not cover, then she would have to ask me to leave, Hornung wrote.
Instead of complying with the owners request, Hornung decided to pack up her things and leave. Her husband, Casey Hornung, said he was outraged over the incident.
"I was angry for the words that woman spoke, he told WDAY-TV. I was angry at the way my wife was treated. I was worried about her, and how she was feeling.
The couple shared their story on Facebook when they returned home, and the post quickly went viral.
Hundreds of people who sided with the mom left bad reviews on the restaurants Facebook page and gave the location one-star ratings.

She as to have an instagram page. You can probably see all the burnie/hitlery love on it.
you don't like it deal with it.
More like a tarp.
Bet you a Big Mac the husband has a pussy hat and the family pet is a pit bull. The family car is a first year Prius with two Obama stickers on the rear bumper and an “I’m With Her” on the rear widow obscuring any useful view from the interior rear view mirror.
yeah, do we even know if she ordered food? The other thought is she is eating salty and greasy fast food and then nursing her kid? Not the best “diet” when you’re nursing a newborn.
This behavior is udderly abominable.
I assume she looked pretty Hot about ten Months ago.
Otherwise, she would have been dining alone.
Personal attacks? Gee aren’t you the clever one. I would vote for Hillary provided the election was determining who was being exiled to some barren dog vomit land.
Am I a huge manatee. Well no. Do I think this woman needed to go to social media, no. Do I defend the nursing of infants, yes. Even when their moms do not meet some over idealized expectation of what woman are supposed to look like, yes.
But your comments and the comments of others about her appearance when they have no bearing on the issue at hand are juvenile, puerile, insulting to many good women, and just plain junkyard dog mean.
There was nothing to suggest she had been immodest or argumentative. Exposing the top part of a breast (AKA cleavage) while nursing is often more modest than some bathing suits. Some babies do not mind a cover others do. I don’t want to have supper under a woolen throw. You might find it quite comforting.
There are plenty of immodest in your face behavior about these days. I have no desire to see anyone’s butt cheeks being waggled about like a worm on a hook. But nursing a child is not in and of itself immodest behavior. Even if G-d forbid one happens to see part of a breast.
I do hope your day is a blessed one.
Changing a diaper in public is just wrong for many reasons. I’ll let you figure those out.
These women doing this are doing it to stir the pot, and for no other reason. She deliberately set this up, even choosing Chick-Fil-A as the location. This woman is a great example of why President Trump was elected.
So many of us are totally fed up with libs cramming things down our throat. What she did is no different than gays parading down the street without clothes. Does nothing for their so-called issue, and everything to do with slapping us in the face because we may not agree with them 1000%.
She is hard at work on the re-elect President Trump campaign and has no clue.
Do you pay my bills? Who the heck are you when you are at home?
:)
When I go to a restaurant, I don't want to have the people at next table breast-feed or change the diapers of their babies. She could always take a bottle of milk along.
Nope, it is just a handful of in your face libs that want to force their beliefs down our throats and make us look bad when we don’t want to see it.
I am sure if you ask the women doing this, or supporting this who they voted for they would proudly say Hillary. Same people wearing pussy hats in the street, shock value. I am sure she totally supports abortion, yet is concerned that she can’t breast feed her baby in public- give me a break.
Well, if one has such a child, it would be wise, then, to find a secluded area at feeding time.
Count me in on that short list too.
For sure.
