Oh, that's right we were "hurt" because we thought the protests were not "peaceful" and we must not oppose "police brutality" and "racial inequality"?
If you are going to convince people to come back, don't misstate what it was about so badly.
Nobody thought the protests were not peaceful...we thought they were in disgustingly bad taste for several reasons:
1) They protested the one thing that unites us...pride in our nation.
2) They were changing sports into a protest platform.
3) The cause was a slanderous blood libel, accusing people who were largely innocent of being racist murderers.
