Dear friend, my anger is directed at 1) Jeff Sessions for accepting the job as AG, then immediately recusing himself, leaving his President vulnerable and 2) Rod Rosenstein for appointing a special counsel to investigate the President, instead of appointing a special counsel to investigate the criminal unmasking etc that was already known by that time. President Trump has demonstrated frustration if not anger about these same exact points.
Rosenstein and Sessions have since still refused to appoint that special counsel, despite their oversight committees and chairman calling for it since last summer. Since Congress made those requests for the special counsel to investigate the DOJ, the special counsel that was appointed by Rosenstein has indicted four Trump team members. So if we seem impatient, it's because the opposing team already has some scalps on the wall.
Therefore we are skeptical of those who would have us believe that Sessions and Rosenstein can be trusted with an indefinite amount of time, to use the already exposed DOJ to investigate itself. I'm just not on board with that. Only the special counsel that has been requested by Congress, that would provide the best independent and subjective review of the DOJ, to include Sessions and Rosenstein, should be accepted. The chances that the DOJ will just bury as much of this as they can to protect their reputation is just too high. Hopefully the new IG report will bear fruit, but it is the same IG that helped bury Fast and Furious, the IRS targeting, etc. Thanks.

The information compiled by “Imperator Rex” THIS TIME was actually pretty good.
But it may be the very first time, since in my opinion he has notoriously been completely incorrect in many of his previous claims, such as repeatedly insisting that Michael Flynn pled guilty on purpose, just so his Non-disclosure agreements with the Department of Defense would be waived, which is absolutely incorrect as to how that works. According to the Imperator account, Flynn did it because he was actually going to testify against Hillary, according to the Imperator’s bizarre claim that Mueller’s team of cutthroat liberals was put together to secretly target Hillary, and not Trump. He has stuck to this claim, even after Meuller indicted one former Trump associate after another.
So it is very interesting that the Imperator on Twitter is apparently now possibly preparing to quickly pivot to throw Rosenstein and Mueller under the bus. My guess is he (or his team of disinfo agents) has possibly detected a shift in the winds, and is now hedging his position, in case he needs to emergency eject from his longtime previous positions. So I’d be careful trusting anything from that source, but his possible shift could be a good indication that the tide is truly beginning turn, since that account has been one of the main, if not the primary source for the theory that Mueller and Rosenstein were good guys working on some sting of Hillary.
