Yes, it was absolutely a positive development, in many regards. Hopefully the Imperator account sticks with this line of reasoning, instead of being a champion of the corrupt DOJ, which has been its primary position before now.

Also, there is no question that he would have some important information about Clinton, as he was very close to Huma Abedin. The now estranged couple was once happily married. Abedin herself was recently described as “cooperative” by the FBI, at least since they re-opened the Clinton email case. The FBI is now looking into Abedin’s emails, as they were stored on her husband’s laptop. This device was originally turned over to the FBI so they could investigate the possibility that Weiner was sexting under-age girls. Weiner is most likely talking in the hopes of getting a deal to reduce his sentence. Abedin probably wants the same for herself.
