Leaders of both parties are already assuming Speaker Pelosi; Dem house takeover is “baked in”
Axios ^ | Jan 14, 2018 | Mike Allen

Trump's day of reckoning ... The one thing that could dramatically diminish President Trump’s chances of avoiding impeachment and chalking up legislative wins is Democrats winning the House.

And, thanks to series of recent developments, Trump knows this no longer just seems plausible, but probable.

Show less Hill sources tell us that a House Democratic takeover is now likely. One strategist close to Republican leaders believes that a loss of the House is "baked in," and said top Republicans don't see a way to avoid it.

Both Mitch and Nancy are hoping for it.

>>I know folks will say “the experts were wrong about 2016” to rebut this, but everything does seem to point to a Dem house.

If you eliminate “experts” who quote each other to prove a point, what exactly is the “everything” that points to a Dem House?

Trump is not a Republican. He is an outside party candidate who smartly used the infrastructure of a major party to win the White House.

The Republican Party itself is dying and needs to be burned to ashes, then the ashes given a burial at sea courtesy of the bathroom toilet.

The same polls that oversample Democrats?

So?

Dems always have an average 10pt lead in "the generic ballot".

You seem so concerned...

Hey, it's "baked in." What do you expect me to do about it?

Pubbies need to grow “some” and Mitch has to kill the cloture filibuster by returning to the Mr. Smith rules. Get the floor, make your point, let the chips fall. No game playing - win by civil discourse of the facts and truth, not political strategery.

Oh. Polls. Are the internals legit this time or are we assuming +10% Democrat voters as well?

“And, thanks to series of recent developments, Trump knows this no longer just seems plausible, but probable.”

Writer never gets around to describing the recent developments. He couldn’t finish writing his piece if had been forced to mention something, because the rest of the article depends on that sentence.

“But Democratic momentum looks like it could drench the map.”

Drench? As in what the witch was supposed to have done? Americans are royally infuriated at Trump because he refuses to allow a third world invasion, or he chooses to protect the country, or implement tax cuts? Or MAGA? Yep, that’s it. Americans want to be third world. To hell with prosperity and health and happiness.

Impeachment? On what charge? Even if he is impeached 2/3 of the Senate must vote to convict. Then the VP becomes POTUS. Are they going to impeach and convict him too? What charges? What do they think the general public will do during the show trials?

I’m beginning to think if the Rats get Congress it could be a blessing in disguise. It at least renders the RINOs irrelevant and Trump can deal with the Rats directly without having to waste time on placating the RINOs.

“Leaders” from both parties should take another look at the county map of Trump wins. The Rats offer nothing but a gaurentee of impeachment not exactly a compelling reason to vote them in unless you’re an Antifa kook.

Noti if we get an organized ground game to GOTV and get more youth...Millennials to campaign on our side. It is in their best interest. They have every reason to ditch the illegal alien party.

The Dems and Far Left Commies do not care for legal Americans and this is one of the key messages that will be pushed to ensure a ‘Americans First’ agenda anda Trump 2020 victory.
An increasing number of Millennials (like my kids) do not like the democrat party of thieves and see the writing on the wall. .
Meanwhile ,George Soros has already donated $13 Billion to get his army of trolls and thieves to defeat Trump.
Question: What are we doing? We cannot sit around and wait.
We must fight this strategically and WIN seats or our country is gone. Again, we need to be organized (now) and two steps ahead. Youth voters for hire is a good start! #MillennialsAgainstDemocrats #MillennialsForTrump

That always works until they have to actually give a name - then no one wants that person - they just have an empty bench at all levels.

The Republicans have only themselves to blame, promised us the moon if given a Republican President but gave us Arkansas.

Oh bullsh!t! "Everything"?

Please, do tell me about this "everything" that points to a Dem house.

When are people going to stop believing every piece of discouraging propaganda that comes from the Left?

If the American people are that stupid, they will deserve the civil war which results...
