This nightclub I went to in Dallas would play Whip it,” by Devo then Rawhide as the last two songs of the night! Too funny!
**********************
Sounds like the place I went to in the West End. The guys on stage were hilarious. They would invite someone from the crowd onto the stage and then do the Yogi and Boo Boo thing to the tune of Camp Town Races. ...Lots of Killian’s Red beer flowed that night!

Back to topic... The X Files ...Cheers ...Mission Impossible ...MTM ...Rawhide ...Daniel Boone ...All in the Family ...many, many more, but I’ll stop now.

How about the Milton the Monster theme?

Six drops of the essence of terror
Five drops of sinister sauce...

(I’ll spare you the rest, but I still remember the words.)

Mission Impossible was good. You don’t hear that much music in 5/4 time.

God bless you for your service during Vietnam. I knew many who served in that war, some of whom came back as different people. I didn’t lose anyone close but was close with people who did. So grateful to you and the others.

Very good song. It got radio play as a single, didn’t it?

I had one of those large 70s Eagles as a kid.

It didn’t survive the 80s.

They show up on Ebay regularly and I keep an alert. One day I’ll see about a replacement.

Plus a certain demographic voting democrat for 200 years instead of a viable space program that could have achieved who knows what by now.

I already voted for “Cheers”; I also like all of the others mentioned, they are very good - I really liked Victory at Sea, and Perry Como’s rendition of the vocal adaptation;

The Jetsons.

AOL used it when they first launched their internet service. It touched a common societal unconscious memory that evoked "futuristic," and the service took off so fast that they couldn't handle the growth.

I watched a bit. My sense of humor and sense of hate had a tug o war. Funny though, that is what he should have been doing at his speeches.

How awful. That’s not how I remembered the MNF theme at all.

Now that you mention it, one of the stickiest theme songs for me was from “One Day at a Time.” Probably because of its hedonist sentiments. LOL

Might be before your time. For many of us who grew up in the '70s, that theme is the Monday Night Football theme. Takes me right back to the classic days of the Steelers dynasty teams and their rivalry with the Raiders, the great Earl Campbell crushing tacklers for Bum Phillip's Oilers teams, Dan Fouts leading Air Coryell. Life was very different then, and in many ways better - the MNF theme was a lot better back then, for one thing.
