What's your favorite old T.V. show theme song?
Use to be some great shows on T.V. back in the day.
This nightclub I went to in Dallas would play Whip it, by Devo then Rawhide as the last two songs of the night! Too funny!

Sounds like the place I went to in the West End. The guys on stage were hilarious. They would invite someone from the crowd onto the stage and then do the Yogi and Boo Boo thing to the tune of Camp Town Races. ...Lots of Killian’s Red beer flowed that night!
Back to topic... The X Files ...Cheers ...Mission Impossible ...MTM ...Rawhide ...Daniel Boone ...All in the Family ...many, many more, but I’ll stop now.
How about the Milton the Monster theme?
Six drops of the essence of terror
Five drops of sinister sauce...
(I’ll spare you the rest, but I still remember the words.)
Mission Impossible was good. You don’t hear that much music in 5/4 time.
God bless you for your service during Vietnam. I knew many who served in that war, some of whom came back as different people. I didn’t lose anyone close but was close with people who did. So grateful to you and the others.
Secret Agent Man
The whistling for the Andy Griffith Show.
Car 54 Where Are You
Very good song. It got radio play as a single, didnt it?
I had one of those large 70s Eagles as a kid.
It didn’t survive the 80s.
They show up on Ebay regularly and I keep an alert. One day I’ll see about a replacement.
The Beverly Hillbillies
Plus a certain demographic voting democrat for 200 years instead of a viable space program that could have achieved who knows what by now.
Bonanza - that was Tommy Tedesco on guitar.
LOL........never saw that (I don’t watch SNL anymore). Those black guys had Jack Shelton and Obama down very well. Thanks. I enjoyed it.
I already voted for “Cheers”; I also like all of the others mentioned, they are very good - I really liked Victory at Sea, and Perry Como’s rendition of the vocal adaptation;
AOL used it when they first launched their internet service. It touched a common societal unconscious memory that evoked "futuristic," and the service took off so fast that they couldn't handle the growth.

Thank you. By the way, your post about the washing machine was reeeeeally funny. I was class of ‘64, so we had guys all the hot spots for the build up, but lost only one out of 90 mem in the class. Pretty lucky.
I watched a bit. My sense of humor and sense of hate had a tug o war. Funny though, that is what he should have been doing at his speeches.
Johnny Quest.

How awful. That’s not how I remembered the MNF theme at all.
Now that you mention it, one of the stickiest theme songs for me was from “One Day at a Time.” Probably because of its hedonist sentiments. LOL
