I will say something a little controversial here : I am somewhat disappointed that this was a False Alarm . It’s too bad Kim did not launch on us this morning , the dirty little f-ing rat . Our Aegis system could have knocked it out ( or whatever great superior defense systems we have and none of us know about ) . That would have given us the prefect excuse to launch a devastating counter strike on the DPRK ( and within the PRC perimeters about allowing for a US defensive counter strike ) . This could have been the day when we rid the world of Kim Jong Un and all of his minions .

Remember that like it was yesterday, I was on-the-air at WAWR-FM in Bowling Green, Ohio when the AP teletype bulletin signal rang. “This is not a test” jumped of the page. Hands shaking, I tore open the envelope containing the official code for the day, and about sh*t myself. LOL
Luckily, cooler heads prevailed, as the program director pointed out that the (at the time) regularly scheduled “test” came across every Saturday morning at that same time. Needless to say, it was a tense half-hour or so.
