This will be discussed by advertisers when next year rolls around, and the network probably will see a 30-percent drop in advertising rates. I won’t suggest next year will be the end of the show, but if it follows this trend...they might end up on some lesser cable network and no real cash flow supporting the show.

I think 50-percent of people would prefer to just watch the clip of winners only, and have the speeches totally deleted.

I saw this clip of one the network news anchors saying Oprah’s speech was good therapy, for what I don’t know.

Whatever the percentage of people is who don’t give a flying #### about any awards show, I’m in that percentage.
