The incident occurred about 5:40 a.m. at a home in the 10300 block of Horse Haven Street. An FBI agent then fired his or her weapon after an altercation with a "subject," Special Agent Michael Gifford told KTLA in an email. The person was injured and taken to a hospital, but Gifford did not elaborate on who the person was or what the extent of their injuries were. No law enforcement officers were injured in the shooting, Gifford said.

The cop haters at Free Republic will disagree with something so reasonable.
As yet, we don't know the reason for the service of a night time search warrant. I will assume that the officer who wrote the warrant informed the judge that there were exigent circumstances for the request.
That being said, and while it might not be related, President Trump has declared a national emergency because of human trafficking and government corruption. This search warrant could have been related to those things, or something else like a violent cartel suspect. In any case, I think the officers did expect violence, and they were right.
My point is he or she should be, as the cops have proven to be suspect witnesses and participants in these ninja gotta new toy no knock raids.
Yes, it appears common sense has flown out the window these days.
