Randy Travis' DWI arrest video has finally been released by Texas officials, and it's apparent the singer is out of it.
The video is 3 hours long ... we've posted a portion where Randy is clearly agitated and praying to God.
The 2012 footage of Randy's arrest was released Monday after a federal judge denied the country singer's request to keep it private.
As we reported ... Travis filed a lawsuit in September to keep his arrest vid under wraps, claiming it would be a violation of his privacy rights because he was exhausted, intoxicated and medicated.
Travis crashed his Trans Am and was found naked at the crash scene after walking to a convenience store ... also in the nude.

I learned that lesson only too well this year. I take no pleasure in reading about this mans unfortunate incident while others sit on their high horse and laugh at it.
How sad. So he probably had brain damage, and that plus money, fame, and booze.... His people cannot talk sense into him.
One sad thing about recovery from brain damage due to trauma is that the adult patient doesn’t always “see that there is something wrong” and will refuse the treatment and therapy during the crucial window of time for brain repair. Which leaves them with a changed personality and inhibition level and social difficulties. Which often loses them their loved ones because they are so difficult and “not the same person I fell in love with,” etc.
That mans, “Misfortunes or unfortunate incident” as you described his crime, could have easily taken out an innocent family. Happens every day with drunks.
Tragic how some people self destruct on addictions.

I agree with you. Why take pleasure in another person’s misfortune. I don’t even do that about people I loathe, like John McCain. There but for the grace of God go I.

To add to your informed remark, Travis’ lawyer attests that he initially was in a car wreck, where his head hit both the windshield and the concrete.
Whether the car wreck was due to alcohol was not indicated, but regardless, the severe trauma to the head is in the equation, along with the stroke.
By now, imho, after the wreck, the stroke, the physical rehabilitation, it is possible that he could suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease, as well. (Perhaps I just have Glenn Campbell in my mind.)
Two fine Americans who suffered the tortures of mental debilitation making it easy to to make bad choices that they would never have made when they enjoyed good health and happiness.
Their fine contributions to the culture of country music in their work proves who they used to be.
