A Democrat-backed study meant to expose illicit online gun sales instead seemed to show the opposite -- with hardly any sellers taking the bait when undercover investigators tried to set up dozens of illegal firearm transactions.

Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., as well as Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, had commissioned the Government Accountability Office report to look into how online private dealers might be selling guns to people not allowed to have them.

The left will eventually die, because they believe their own bullshit.

><

That’s right. They can survive for only so long by relying on lies and deception.

[ Dem-ordered study to expose illegal online gun sales backfires ]

WHAT? Did it expose the crimes of Barack Hussein Obama and Eric Holder with ‘Fast and Furious’ which resulted in murder?

Here’s the meat of the article:

Over the course of the two-and-a-half year investigation, agents tried to buy firearms illegally on the “Surface Web” and the “Dark Web,” generally by sharing their status as “prohibited individuals” or trying to buy across state lines.

But the GAO revealed that their 72 attempts outside of the dark web were all “unsuccessful.”

“Private sellers on Surface Web gun forums and in classified ads were unwilling to sell a firearm to our agents that self-identified as being prohibited from possessing a firearm,” the GAO reported, noting that in their “72 attempts ... 56 sellers refused to complete a transaction once we revealed that either the shipping address was across state lines or that we were prohibited by law from owning firearms.” In the other cases, the investigators’ website was frozen or they encountered suspected scammers.

On the dark web, GAO agents successfully purchased two guns illegally, as the serial numbers on the weapons were “obliterated” and “shipped across state lines.” But in the attempt to purchase, the GAO agents “did not disclose any information indicating they were prohibited from possessing a firearm.”

They make it their refuge. As does MSNBC, CNN and the rest of the liberal media. They have also made a covenant with death, by killing the unborn and promoting the anti-Biology- 101 gay agendas. Being anti-God and antichrist, they are in agreement with Hell.

Isaiah 28:15

“Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:”

King James Version

A gun store owner - well, it is complicated.

I’m surprised to they didn’t ship a bunch of illegal guns to Mexico to prove their point! That’s what Democrats usually do.

A Special Agent had Wells Fargo block a gun store owner’s bank account so he couldn’t see that ATF was forging checks on his account to illegally purchase guns. Then his license number was being used and his application was being upheld so that the gun store owner couldn’t see what was being done with his license being used. Then he tried to take it to the press and no one paid him any attention so he posted it on twitter. Or something like that.

All who used his FFL illegally should be in a federal prison for the maximum sentence possible (x3).

That is outrageous.

There is a small pawn shop that I have used in the past for receiving odd, unique, or just hard to find firearms.

He gets a Fed Ex shipment fairly often, and one day I was there when he received it. There was a NICE safari double rifle that a customer had special ordered. The owner asked for the proper ID and paperwork, which the potential buyer did have (his driver drove him, and he didn’t have his ID. No joke).

Packed the rifle back up, and shipped back to the custom gun shop. Said he could not accept anything but the proper state issued ID or it all goes back. Gun shops will not compromise on this. It means their livelihood.

Yeah, for some reason...

...I get the impression the MSM-Dinomedia these days isn't quite operating under the spirit of the "Is it in the interest of the national security?"  thing JFK had in mind.... if they ever were.

Meanwhile, POTUS Trump is demonstrating their obsolescance with every tweet/video; and for the past year+, every FAKENEWS tidbit they've farted out in response has merely accelerated them along their progressive trajectory into the tar pit.

Sucks to be them.
