Dems know they have to get a black on the ticket for their base to show up. So it is Senator Harris, Booker, or Oprah? Biden is too old and too verbally clumsy. Republicans have to get the evangelicals to show up. I don't think that Oprah would get any of the religious votes as she is very "spiritual" but doesn't seem to have a church, other than the one Obama went to in Chicago.

I completely agree. She’s intelligent, rich, doesn’t owe anyone in the political sphere, has resources and contacts, a known name from TV, is trusted by many, and doesn’t come across as racist or overly religious.
President Trump has many of those same qualities and brought the right message at the right time. Secure the border and deport the illegal criminals. Something we the people have been yelling for 60 years to happen. A message the left still ignores and won’t listen to.
If Oprah brings a message the masses can relate to which have also been ignored by the political leadership on both sides but isn’t the message of “not Trump”, something more tangible and real, she could win.
I personally hope we never see another black person in that position for a thousand years because we have seen what happens when one is but Oprah is a woman which could be the defining difference. Women desperately want to see a woman President to prove a woman can do the job as well as any man. I can’t relate since I’m a guy but I can say I want the person to be pro-American; not pro-muslim/black/white/brown/etc. From what I have observed; most blacks put blacks first above all else then their country. I said “most” not all so if we must have another black Prez; I hope he or she is in the group that doesn’t think like most blacks. So many women voted for HRC simply because she is a woman even with an investigation over her head and so many known crimes which she didn’t have to answer for due to her connections which we now know were the leadership in the FBI, DOJ, and the WH under obummer. No wonder she had that perpetual smirk on her face. She could literally get away with murder.
Look at how a black Prez did nothing for blacks in America except to make them angrier and more divisive then look at how a political newcomer who is definitely not racist but instead is a solid pragmatist and goal oriented made things better for blacks and everyone except illegals who shouldn’t be her anyway in just one year. Trump deserves a full two terms. I hope the country is smart enough to give it to him...
If Oprah is ever President; I fear a race war like we have never seen in this country before if she is anywhere near as divisive as obungles. A really bloody, brutal, and probably shameful war from both sides. The plantation owners should have figured out another way, besides black slavery, to get that cotton picked or at the bare minimum; shipped all blacks back to their homes or new home in Africa with a fair bit of seed money when they were freed - even if they didn’t want to. Can’t go back in time though so it is what it is. Throwing welfare money at baby breeders has only worsened the problems in the ghettos but that’s another story altogether I guess - or it is?
Pardon the long ramble but it’s all true and pertinent concerning Oprah or any possible black candidate for President.

True regarding a black candidate (I just threw up in my mouth saying that) but wrong on the opster - she may still have creed with the black women but certainly not a lot with white women. She’s a joke, regardless of her past success, she’s very racist and not nice off camera. A fraud if there ever was one. Sickening to even imagine her running.
