Considering that Wikileaks made its name by leaking confidential and/or hard to find documents and information, and also considering the reversal in the Trump administration vis-a-vis Julian Assange, whom it first lauded only to threaten with incarceration in recent months, it is perhaps not surprising that moments ago the official Wikileaks twitter account published Michael Wolff's controversial - and largely sold out - book, "Fire and Fury" in pdf format.

That comment was meant, by the anonymous Twitter author, to be completely ironic, and it was largely the fact that it was the first Twitter comment that made it unique.

Most books that they anticipate to be best sellers are released in audio format at the same time as the hardcover, usually narrated by the author.

Books are no different from movies, music or video games. They are available for download within minutes of being released. Wikileaks wasn’t the first to share it, just more well known. It was downloaded hundreds of thousands of times before Wikileaks got hold of it.
Book publishers, just like every other media publisher, will claim millions in lost sales when in reality the people downloading wouldn’t have bought the book in the first place.

Thanks Eddie01. Save a buck and a trip to the store (oh, and hurt sales).

Yes, I know.
Its just hilarious that the pirated version is also available in audio. Several posters have had fun with this thought :-)

Exactly, and that most likely is their intent. I hope the publisher printed up a bunch of books after the initial blush & rush to buy the book, and it loses its rear end in the end. 8>)

just read thru the first chapter...thru page 29.
The events I’ve described in these pages are based on conversations that took place over a period of eighteen months with the president, with most
members of his senior staff—some of whom talked to me dozens of times—and with many people who they in turn spoke to.
Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue.
Those conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book. Sometimes I have let the players
offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them. In other instances I have, through a consistency in accounts and through sources I have
come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.
Bannon wanted Ailes to suggest to Trump, a man whose many neuroses included a horror of forgetfulness or senility, that
Murdoch might be losing it.
- Conway, on 2016-11-08, thought they could keep the loss to 6 points and she would have it made in the shade on TV talk shows.
- Trump thought he going to lose - supposedly the reason he hardly put any money into the campaign.
- Jared thought Trump was going to lose.
- Bannon thought Trump was going to win.
- Trump was the source of the released "modeling" pictures of Melania.
- Trump was in real estate which is the vehicle for money laundering.
Wolff had multiple choice versions and he picked what he believed to be true. Bee-u-ti-ful.

WikiLeaks and Assange fall under the ‘journalist’, and ‘publisher’ labels, just like any other media outlet..
Also, they are not American, nor in America.
