Shocking footage shows the moment a man suffered a fatal injury when he was gored by a charging bull.
Jorge Barrios died after taking part in Colombias corralejas bullfighting event, which has attracted criticism from animal rights campaigners. Quit your job because the Mega Millions jackpot is now $450m During the festival, a large number of contestants bait the animal with red capes before dodging out of the way at the last second.
But Barrios, thought to be a construction worker, was not able to move out of the way in time in the arena in Sincelejo. In the video, which some viewers may find distressing, he is knocked off his feet by the animal as it strikes him with its horns. Some people who attended the festival said he may have been drunk when he entered the arena. Critics of the event argue that it is outdated, cruel to the animals, and leaves bullfighters injured every year.
Darwin would be proud.
You won’t do it more than once...............
Several blockbuster movies?
Was it wrong for me to LOL?
Go to your room.
NOW!
He didn’t have a cape that I saw, unlike the luckier others.
He didn’t even try to get out of the way.
A much larger animal, whichever kind eats bulls.
Yesterday in Sincelejo, Colombia, an American tourist was in a restaurant, and saw a plate with huge meatballs with rice and sauce delivered to the table next to him. He asked his waiter what that dish was called, and was told “Cajones”. He thought they looked delicious.
Today, the same tourist goes to the same restaurant and eagerly ordered the Cajones.
The plate comes with two tiny meatballs, lost in the sauce and rice.
He complains that yesterday the other table got a huge dish, and his was meager.
The waiter whispered “Si, Senor, but the bull no always lose!”
It's a haunting song about a bull fighter turning his back to the bull to please the crowd and is gored to death.
Pecos Bill might get away with it.
Eeeeuw !!
Wouldn’t this be an expected outcome if you’re playing with a bull?
Till Gonzalo Gacha threw Victor Caranzas little brother from his own Magnum P.I. chopper over the ring on a Sunday afternoon from 1000 feet in front of 1000s
He was already tortured to death
Gacha was moving into Cundinamarca state around the capital Bogota and Victors emerald concessions nearby
Victor being a founder of the AUC rightist paras and buddies with the Castaño brothers and yours truly as well and was having none of that
But it put a damper on the festivities
Victor and Doctor Juan Beetar gave me my first break in emeralds in 1982
They were solid just don't cross them
remarkable men....truly tough as nails but honest....Juan Beetar left and Victor on right. Victor survived countless assasination attempts on his life (25)
Beetar was Jewish and the sophisticate to Victors pure grit to go from nothing to largest emerald magnate in the wold and billionaire Colombian warlord in a tough neighborhood
anyhow sorry for nostalgia rant...back to toro
