I wish him well, but I hope they also remove the Clot of Haughty Arrogance. I mean, the guy has the answers in his fn hand. He doesnt need to shame his contestants over it.

Point taken, but I think he is clearly among the finest few on TV.

I remember when he was the game show host for "High Rollers" with Ruta Lee. His persona was completely different on that show. The original Jeopardy! featured the great Art Fleming, who was always composed and professional. I remember they did a "Behind the Scenes" at the original show, and yes, they actually had a man behind the big board pulling the cards out, and they showed him to us! In some ways, TV was a lot more fun then.

You don’t want to mispronounce a word or get the incorrect intonation in front of him...’cause he’ll sure correct you.
I wonder how many hours he spends in front of his dressing room mirror pronouncing upcoming words with just the right accent?
He reminds me of my lib-left sister. She enjoys throwing foreign words into conversations to prove how smart and cultured she is. Tickles me because we were both born in the same slum.

I'm sure he'll be fine. After all, brain surgery isn't rocket science.
