Thanks for your kind reply. I came across an assertion that the leaves are useful, too. But I haven't found info on how to process the leaves and stems.

The plant is a beautiful kind of plant with a very unique bloom cluster. We haven't tried it outdoors yet but the one in the Sonroom is doing well. It needs watered about every 2-3 days.

I am growing a few turmeric plants for the first time. Mine have not bloomed. I got starts from a garden friend in late fall.
