“He claim to have recordings. Why would Trump issue a cease and desist if their is nothing to cease and desist?”
He may have recordings, and Bannon may have said what is claimed. That doesn’t make what Bannon said automatically true. People can lie, distort, spin, etc.
“Why would trump say Bannon had lost his mind if he didnt believe Bannon said it? Why would press secretary say Trump was peeved if there was nothing to be peeved about.”
To repeat, Bannon may have actually said it. But Bannon is not the sole source for the book. Other sources are already claiming Wolff is lying.
Wolff claims that Trump did not want to be president. Those who campaigned with Trump are laughing at that. They say Trump almost drove them in the ground with his effort.
John Podhoretz, a never-Trumper, has just warned that you cannot depend on what Wolff writes, he blends fact with fantasy.
I agree, it doesn’t automatically make what may have said to actually be true. Or it may be true in his eyes, but not from a legal perspective. But you must admit, he’s thrown gasoline on a smoldering ember. I would suspect if he hasn’t already been interviewed by the Mueller and team, he’s now on the short list or will be invited back.
