I’ve known breast cancer patients who died and lung cancer patients who died.
It seems the lung cancer patients look so much smaller and weaker and more sick before death.
I don’t get it.
Why do many (terminal) lung cancer patients look much smaller and weaker near death compared to (terminal) breast cancer patients?
I’m only speculating, but my guess is breast cancer is a more localized condition, albeit a terminal one from time to time.
Lung cancer is automatically going to effect the entire body of that person. The circulation and temperature are not easily maintained throughout the patient’s body any longer.
This one change, lack of strong circulation of oxygen and blood cells will produce visible effects very quickly.
Many such patients cannot eat very well, thus lessening new fuel for the body. The cells may begin to cannibalize from the bone marrow in order to continue other functions.
