Best place I discovered turned up on the cover of an out of the way restaurant book.
Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill, NH.
One of my projects for this year is to put my menu collection online. I've already separated it into restaurants now out of business and those still existing.
Jonathan, an art deco restaurant in New Orleans. Right click View Image on the written menu for larger version.

I haven’t watched Iron Chef in years — since we cut the cable.

Typical stupid bureaucrats. It would be great if President Trump could cut great swaths of useless eaters out of the FDA and streamlined (aka reduce) those regulations as well.

Sounds so yummy.
There is a hole in the wall Mexican place not far from here but in a rough corner of town. It is packed, have to wait for seating til someone else leaves. Always worth the hustle and wait. They opened up a fancier Mexican place in a better part of town with their success. Its ok, but the original.... so good.

And to think, sixty years ago the rage was Gluten enhanced breads. More Gluten the better for you!

Thirty five years ago it was ACIDOPHILIS MILK! It was everywhere for a few years! Then it disappeared.

I had garlic ice cream once at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. It really wasn’t bad at all. The garlic was certainly sweeter than I thought it could be.
Now avocado ice cream (that festival is in Carpenteria, CA) on the other hand makes the back of your throat scratchy for the rest of the day.

You’ll do better looking for sushi burritos. I first saw them myself in Las Vegas last summer and now I see that they’ve been a thing for two years now.

I’d also try the colored spaghetti. I loved putting food coloring into mashed potatoes as a girl.

As a normal person, I’m proud to say I’ve never heard of any of this stuff.

As a normal person, Im proud to say Ive never heard of any of this stuff. I had a similar reaction - how can one call these foods part of a "trend" if you've never heard of them?
