Earthquake conditions?
The werewolves are going to be pumped!
It’s -5 out tonight here in CNY and go figure, the night you DON’T want to be outside for astronomical stuff, it’s clear, too.
I’ll peek at it from the bedroom window, thankyouverymuch, and that is the closest to outside I’m getting.
I saw the moon rising in Seattle around 5:30 PM local time.
Completely by accident. And completely magnificent.
I thought the largest moon of the year was last month, but we had rain and clouds that evening, so I couldn’t see it, and I just forgot about it.
Anyway, today I’m walking home from the grocery store, perfectly clear northeast skies, about an hour past sunset, and I see this huge bright light in the space between two 30 floor buildings.
What the heck? It’s the freaking moon!
Unfortunately, my view was blocked the rest of the way home, but I stood and stared at it for a couple minutes, which was quite thrilling.
Thanks for the information!
Much appreciated information. Will definitely poke my nose out into the cold to see.
Cloudy here in North ‘Bama...I’ll do my ‘Super Moon’ dance anyway.....
