Such being the case, federal courts would actually have no authority to hear any appeal of a state’s decision not to allow someone onto the ballot for president. In reality only purple states can have a controling effect; what difference would it actually make if the Republicans weren’t allowed on the ballot in New York, or the Democrats in Oklahoma? But Ohio could veto any Republican nominee absolutely, and have a dramatic influence if it black-balled a Democrat nominee.

IMHO the state governments should have laws on the books to enforce constitutional strictures against presidenial candidates. Hillary shouldn’t have been on the ballot if she couldn’t pass a superficial neurological exam, as seemed pretty clearly to be the case in ’16.

It's interesting that you bring this up. I remember an investigation and article which came out during 0bama's first election or soon after. It was on the OCON or Official Certification of Nomination. Historically it is issued by the state for which the candidate is born certifying a candidates eligibility to run.

This investigation was about the top election official in Hawaii refused to issue an OCON for 0bama. So Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean decided to issue their own OCON certifying 0bama eligible to run. It was the only one of its kind where a state did not issue an OCON.

This never saw the light of day in the enemedia. I never saw it debunked, they just buried it like so many other things they try to bury, including Sheriff Joe's investigation in to 0bama's life narrative. I knew he wasn't eligible when I read this OCON investigation. Nancy Pelosi has a ton to answer for and she needs to be on the hot seat for this traitorous action against this nation.
