I will not watch modern horror movies. I believe they destroy the human soul.

I liked the old 50’s era flying saucer type of sci-fi and also the old 1930’s horror movies but the newer ones are absolutely full of gore and all types of depravity. I know much of it actually happens in the world but I don’t want to be subjected to it.

Even family hour TV shows are getting really gross.

You’re taking me back.
I spent my last days off watching these classics:
Tarantula
Them
The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
The Giant Behemoth
When Worlds Collide
And a few others.

(And, yes. I was going all MST3K with every one of them in my head.)

I love horror films, but I like them to have a good mystery, and those are usually ghost stories. I don't want to see all sorts of violence and gore. My favorites are The Changeling (George C. Scott), The Ring, The Innocents, and others in the same style.

The old horror movies distinguished between good and evil and we all wanted to be good.

Modern horror movies - seems they are teaching evil IS good and this is how to do it!
