Theres been no shortage of reasons to be afraid in 2017, a year marked by political upheaval, natural disasters, and national tragedies across the board. Yet, contrary to what you might expect, audiences turned out in droves to get an added dose of terror from killer clowns, possessed dolls, and whatever other creepy creations filmmakers conjured up for audiences. Dont get me wrong, its not a surprise to see horror do well. The oft-ignored genre has long been a reliable, affordable backbone of the film industry despite the ritual shunning come awards season, but even with that in mind, 2017 has been a truly stunning year for horror. Its a year of six Stephen King adaptations, when an outright horror film has a shot at a best picture nomination, and when the box office soared to become the biggest, highest-grossing year for horror of all time.
Looks scary!
I wouldn't go quite that far but they are a factor. Horrific video games also.
LOL
Yep. ZERO terror attacks. If you discount the Nazis, the last terror attack Poland had was in 1939 “The Tarnow rail station bombing” and that was done by a German, but they have NEVER had a single solitary attack by a Muslim.

Nobody says to her “Ma’am, what’s the matter? Do you feel OK?” Nope, they’ve all been through that before, it’s routine.
Wow that’s incredible. The rest of the world could learn from Poland.
Not "Ash vs the Evil Dead". That horror series gives us hope that, if we are willing to confront and fight off evil with a rusty chainsaw hand and trusty shotgun, we can all find our way to our personal Jacksonville, FL heaven.
it’s the first amendment. You can’t blame entertainment for the actions of a few. That’s the same argument that leftists make when it comes to guns.
