Maybe Catholics should stop encouraging illegal behavior.

I bet they are afraid of being followed home after mass.

Good. Should jail those who sheltered them.

After more than 100 years, a Roman Catholic church in Detroit is closing, partly because
Hispanics illegals who worship there fear immigration agents.
Legal Hispanics have nothing to worry about, I presume, unless they participate in harboring illegals.

Citizens and legal residents, regardless of ethnicity, usually have no fear of immigration agents. Golly, could it be that a significant number of the congregants are neither citizens nor legal residents of the USA?

Yeah that’s enough to sustain a church.

The congregation of 300 families will be encouraged to attend St. Gabriel, a nearby church. ICE, over here ^

As Billy Bob Clinton is so fond of saying ‘You better get some ICE for that.’

Gee, maybe gang members and criminals don’t attend church?
Just a guess.

It is closing after 100 years because the democRATS destroyed Detroit.
They have been importing foreigners to steal our country from US. They desperately do not want US to be able to restore the rule of law and reverse the demographic changes they have instituted through non-enforcement of laws and borders.
They brought 30 million people here to change the country against the will of the citizens and they do not want us sending them home.

Lets see... if they are legal citizens and residents, no problem. If not, yes, they should fear going anywhere. Self-deport, go home. Shame that Catholic church promotes illegal behavior, gives protection to illegal aliens, undermines the U.S., and then tries to even shame us for wanting respect for our country.

Excellent! TY President Trump! Being afraid of ICE raids and hiding in the shadows is exactly how it should be. (Right before being deported). And since the Catholics love illegals so much, let them all live in the Vatican. Catholic Charities Have been getting rich off the taxpayers and been encouraging the destruction of this country for far too long.

Don't see many obvious illegals at the local Presbyterian (PCA or "reform") churches. I have family who attend one or the other.

Many, many churches are involved with refugee resettlement and other "assistance" and are paid accordingly by the feds. The profit is huge. The USCCB and some Lutheran synods especially play this game.
Just browsing the link, looks like some portion of PCA is involved to an extent as well.

Never should have changed it from Latin.
I’ve been saying for years—the troubles in this country(and the rest of the world) started with Vatican II.
