I believe the Activity tab used to work — or work better. It showed, IIRC, which threads where having comments added most energetically, or something like that. It was a way of seeing which topics were being “bumped to the top” by people who were making comments. I think the system went through an upgrade quite a long time ago which caused the Activity tab functionality to fail and it was never fixed.

When you click on a keyword, you'll see a selection of articles posted using that keyword in the calendar order in which that keyword was added.
You used to be able to click on activity and see the calendar order of comments posted on articles using that keyword.
At some several years ago this feature was disabled and now nothing shows up.

I just got here last week, but the comments tab shows comments as they are posted on all threads (if I am not mistaken).

“Comments” seems to be every Reply Posted in order from most recent, second by second , regardless of the age of the topic.
