Yes, it is. I feel so bad for the mom and everybody in this dysfunctional group, though. Why don’t these women expect something better out of their men? He stole her car and then the baby to “get back at her”? He wasn’t even the baby’s father, so far as I can tell.
She seems like a nice lady, concerned about her baby, but for Pete’s sake...quit hanging around with guys like that. Demand something better.
Families ain’t what they used to be - and even then there some mighty odd dysfunctional ones, just the way it was, back in the day. Now it seems the norm rather than the exception, just staring with unwed motherhood by itself as a problem.
Unwed motherhood is a problem. Of course, these idiots are just following the lead of Hollywood, which absolutely boasts about it. But they don’t realize that the average unwed mother, unlike the Hollywood version, doesn’t make several hundred thousands of dollars a year. These poor things...
