She was a fine writer, actually. She had a very good ear for dialogue and she was good on places and the people that went with them (fringe areas of LA, for example). Her plots were also good.
I enjoyed her books and I’m sorry that there won’t be any more of them. She done good.
Her books were very good, one of the best mystery series ever. Her characters seemed very real.
Sounds like she left surrounded by a loving family. That’s good.
