Mumbai: Fifteen people including 12 women, most of them in their twenties and early thirties, were killed in a massive fire that started from a restaurant in Mumbai's Kamala Mills compound late on Wednesday evening, and spread rapidly to nearly restaurants and offices as well. Fire-fighters took more than three hours to douse the huge flames that leapt up in central Mumbai's nightlife hub. Initial reports indicate most of the casualties were reported from the vicinity of the restaurants that had opened in the 37-acre premises over the last few years. A case of culpable homicide has been registered against the restaurant '1 Above' where the fire broke out.
The majority of those killed were women attending a birthday party at a rooftop restaurant, police said. The 28-year-old woman celebrating her birthday was among those who died, her grandfather told news agency Reuters.
The fire is suspected to have started a little after 12.30 am and spread quickly. Witnesses said the entire building was engulfed in flames in less than half-an-hour.

What does the 10 points mean?
10 points?
I have no idea.
“...What does the 10 points mean?...”
Dunno. Maybe the muzzies get 10 points for burning the evil infidel place down?
Ten facts about the fire are listed in the article.
Don’t click on the link. It’s boggy as hell.
I think it might refer to the updates which are in numbered bullet points.
Shades of the Oakland “Ghost Ship” fire. Unlicensed restaurants opened up, lack of fire inspections, hot nightspot for young people that grew quickly in popularity, fire swept through the building in seconds. What a tragedy. So sorry for the dead and their relatives.
Interesting that a case of “culpable homicide” was opened immediately.
RIP.
I wasn’t sure who got burned up & who might have gotten the 10 points, but that was my thoughts exactly & why I asked. 8>)
Did they change the article title? I ask because now it says 10 Facts.
