People love to disparage Disco, but there were Disco artists with serious talent.

Donna Summer was an underrated, very talented vocalist. Her cover of Dan Fogelberg’s “Nether Lands” is beautiful.

Nile Rodgers is another example. He is still a sought after guitarist and producer. His contribution to Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” is, IMO, what makes that song great. He is a legend.

I guess the reason that I don’t hate Disco, like most people do, is that I was born in December, 1970 and Disco was one of the first genres of music that I was exposed to.

I love disco, and I’m not ashamed to say it. I love the Bee Gees disco music. 70s R&B. Great music. Feels good. Well made - well played.

When “I feel love” first came out, a DJ said he genuflected before it. Silly bo... oh, wait. I did, too. LOL

Yes. He helped make Bowie's "Let's Dance" possible, and that was one of the best albums of the '80s for me.
