Since the children of high IQ parents tended to survive longer than those of low IQ, a society's intelligence tended to increase over time.

But now, with improved health care and the fact that the well-to-do have tiny families, that societal trend may have reversed.

Just look at my postings since I joined over a decade ago. That’s a 20 point IQ decline right there.
