EWOKs wrecked the franchise forever with the exception of that hot princess with the red lip thing.

It wasn't just the Ewoks. I thought the whole thing about Luke & Leia's being brother & sister was thrown out of nowhere. It really made no sense & badly shook up the plot line. The whole prequel series, although I never saw them, seemed like an attempt to explain everything that went wrong in SW #6.

The much-vaunted ESB had Yoda state that “there is another” in reply to Kenobi’s “last hope”.

I loved ROTJ. Ewoks might’ve been a bit of a stretch but they didn’t detract from the overall approach. Anyway, I’m biased for movies that actually wrap it up. Or I thought it did.
