She is right. A lot of people have a problem enjoying an actor’s performance once they know too much about them (personal life, political views, etc.)
As usual some internet site uses hyperbole to get hits. She “blasted” no one. Only some pointed comments about actors acting unprofessionally. BS headline.

I think this is what actors of today do not understand! People want actors to be a sort of “blank slate” upon which they can foist their own thoughts, dreams, etc... Right or wrong, that is EXACTLY what people are seeking in their “performers”!
Honestly, would Rock Hudson, Montgomery Clift or Randolph Scott gotten as many girls in the theaters, if people had KNOWN they were gay? NO! Because it would turn half the people off and then their box office draw would suffer - PERIOD! Women WANTED Rock Hudson to be straight, because they dreamed of being his lover. Most women would no longer have those dreams if they knew they never had a chance with him!
Same thing with young singers! They start off as sweet-hearts and turn into sex-tarts that are overly sexualized from their first album to the second. Instantly, those guys who dreamt that she was an innocent, young lady are heartbroken to find out she is a wide-receiver!! It changes how you think about a person!
If I see Tom Hanks starring in a role as a Conservative, I know that I am watching a FARCE! He will never be able to convince me that he is really that person, because I KNOW what kind of person he really is - in his heart! I used to be a huge Tom Hanks fan! I liked him all the way back to his “Bosom Buddies” days! But now, I wouldn’t want to see a single movie in which he stars - I just can’t do it!
