The feminine overthrow of the show:
The Master turned Missy
Then a lesbian companion (I quit at that point because it seemed she had to bring it up so often that she was a lesbian.)
Now a female Dr. Who...how can that work...I can’t imagine. Will the companion be a male or female...should be an interesting dilemma.

Did you know she was also black (She occasionally mentioned that as well - and John Kerry served in Vietnam, too)

I was half expecting, when the lesbian companion returned, that she would have an affair with the female Doctor.

For most of the post-2005 series, there has been strong sexual tension between the Doctor and his female companions. This ended when Matt Smith was replaced by Capaldi, since it would have been politically incorrect for 20-something Clara to love a man 30 years her senior.

They deferred the issue by having the next companion be lesbian, and now the Doctor be a woman. BBC does not want an Alpha male doctor who women swoon over.
