"The truth is that I was naive to think that an artist of her age can withstand the pressure involved in coming to Israel, and I take full responsibility and ask the forgiveness of fans, admirers, and other dreamers," Arielli wrote on Facebook. No mention or even hinting of her being a child. However, 21 is still a young adult. and at that age most can still be manipulated by social pressure.

Some of it’s good. I certainly haven’t heard enough of her songs to say what percentage is good, but the ones I have heard I like.

Lorde is a good kid. Innocent and artistic. It’s the people she’s surrounded by, calling the shots.
In many interviews she seems level headed and driven by the music.. not politics. But we all know that if an artist isn’t leftist, they are today

Yes, she has HRC's morphology, and likely her politics before too much longer, too. Cankles and communism.

Grammy-award winning artist Lorde has canceled a scheduled concert in Tel Aviv following activists' calls for her to join the growing boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement targeting Israel.
What a disgrace, an empty, mindless gesture done under pressure - I rather liked some of her music, I will not be buying any of it.

If she had a contract, sue her for every dime you can get.

Never heard of her. Sounds like a bubble dwelling narcissist, like any “artiste” who goes by one name. (Cher, Maddonna, Bono, Beyonce, ad nauseum)

How can a lesser known performer dare to play politics in a world where at least half (or more) of her audience are not of the same political beliefs as her.
Entertainers depend on their music or acting skills or looks or weirdness. Lorde is not known to be pleasantly abundant in any of those skills.
As far as I can tell, she was famous for hanging out with Taylor Swift for a few weeks or so; other than that, her music is very forgettable, and her looks are not going to carry her.
